Services

Ways to travel with us

Private groups, no-shopping tours, family and solo journeys — plus the single services most visitors end up needing: a driver at the airport, an English-speaking guide, and someone to make mobile payment work on day one.

All services

Private group tours

Travel with the people you chose and nobody else. Your own vehicle, your own guide, your own departure date — we never add strangers to a group to make numbers work.

  • You choose the departure date; we build around it
  • No other travelers are ever added to your group
  • One guide and one vehicle dedicated to your party
  • The itinerary can change mid-trip if you want to linger somewhere

Suited to Families, friends and colleagues traveling together

No-shopping tours

Written into your contract

The promise international travelers ask us about first. No factory visits, no tea ceremonies that end in a salesroom, no cultural centers that turn out to be shops.

  • Zero shopping stops, written into your contract before you pay
  • No commission-driven detours — our guides are salaried
  • The time saved goes back into sightseeing

Suited to Anyone who has read a China tour review and felt nervous

The arrival kit

Most requested

The part that trips visitors up. We set up mobile payment, put a working SIM in your phone, load a transport card, and install the maps and taxi apps that actually function in China — before you leave the hotel on day one.

  • Alipay and WeChat Pay set up and linked to your card
  • A local SIM or eSIM, installed and tested
  • Metro cards issued for every city on your route
  • Maps, translation, taxi and rail apps installed and shown to you

Suited to First-time visitors who want day one to run smoothly

Why travelers book with CCT China

Part of the China Comfort Travel Group, with a team of our own on the ground in every city we sell.

01

A licensed Chinese operator — not a reseller

China Comfort Travel Group Jiangxi Co., Ltd. has traded since 1995 as part of China Comfort Travel Group. Your contract is with a Chinese company you can verify, not an offshore website.

02

Scale that reaches every city we sell

140+ service points of our own, plus the group's national network of 300+ subsidiaries and branches — so ground handling is ours, not subcontracted, wherever in China you travel.

03

Hotels and guides we actually control

We operate two hotels in Jinggangshan — four-star Zhuxuan and five-star Banmufangtang — and employ our own guides rather than renting them by the day.

04

Thirty years of inbound experience

Inbound, domestic and outbound licenses, a five-star provincial rating, and a team that has handled everything from solo travelers to 30-person heritage groups.

Backed by China Comfort Travel Group

Licensed in China, accountable to you

Your trip is contracted with a Chinese travel company you can verify — not with an offshore booking site.

How it works

From inquiry to arrival in four steps

  1. 1

    Tell us your plan

Dates, cities, interests, hotel level and pace. A short form is enough — we will ask anything else we need.

  2. 2

    Get a costed proposal

A written itinerary with day-by-day detail and a fixed price, normally within one business day.

  3. 3

    Refine and confirm

We revise as many times as you need. A deposit confirms your hotels, trains and guides.

  4. 4

Travel with us on the ground

Meet-and-greet at the airport, your own guide and vehicle, and the mobile number of the team that arranged your trip for anything that comes up.

Safety & payment

Insured trips, and money that goes to the company

Two things worth checking before you send a deposit to any agency in China: who receives the money, and what covers you while you are traveling. Both are set out in full on one page.

Insured before you fly — two policies

We carry the liability insurance Chinese law requires of a licensed agency, and take out travel accident insurance for every traveler on the booking — issued in the traveler's own name, not as a group certificate.

Paid to the corporate account

Deposits and balances go to the company's own bank account, with a formal Chinese invoice. Never to a personal account.

Contracted before you pay

Your trip is written into a travel contract on the standard Chinese form, which you approve before any money moves.

Traveler reviews

What guests say after the trip

★★★★★

Cycling through the rice paddies around Yangshuo was the best day of our whole Asia trip. Small details were handled well: bike sizes, a rain plan, and a restaurant that could feed a vegetarian without any fuss.

Lena Karjalainen Finland Guilin & Yangshuo: Li River Karst Escape
★★★★

The mountains are everything the photographs promise. Two of our five days were lost to fog, which nobody can control, but the guide reshuffled the schedule twice to get us the best views. Worth going in April rather than August.

James Okafor United States Zhangjiajie: Avatar Mountains & the Glass Bridge
★★★★★

I wanted somewhere other than the standard route and this was exactly right. Lushan in the cloud was unforgettable, and staying in their own hotel in Jinggangshan made a real difference — the staff clearly knew the group was theirs.

Marie-Claude Girard Canada Jiangxi Signature: Nanchang, Lushan & Jinggangshan
★★★★★

Traveling with a seven-year-old is a test of any itinerary. The panda base at opening time was the highlight of her trip, and the cooking class kept her busy for three hours. Both guides were patient and genuinely good with children.

Emily & David Chen Australia Chengdu: Pandas, Teahouses & Sichuan Flavours
★★★★★

Eight days, four cities and not one moment where we felt handed off to a stranger. The altitude planning was sensible — we never felt rushed in Shangri-La. The driver in Dali was excellent on mountain roads.

Michael Braun Germany Yunnan Discovery: Kunming, Dali, Lijiang & Shangri-La
★★★★★

We are used to booking independently, but China was a different level of logistics and I am glad we did not try. Our guide in Xi'an rearranged the Terracotta Army visit when a school group arrived, and we ended up having the pits almost to…
