Terms of Service
How a quotation becomes a booking, what is included, how changes and cancellations work, and who is responsible for what.

Who we are
This website is operated by China Comfort Travel Group Jiangxi Co., Ltd., a travel agency registered in Nanchang, Jiangxi, China. Unified Social Credit Code 91360100612664502M, Travel Agency License L-JX-CJ00011, Room 411, 4th Floor, Nanchang Integrated Transport Hub, 345 Luoyang Road, Qingshanhu District, Nanchang, Jiangxi, China.
These terms apply to this website and to any quotation we send you. They do not replace the written service contract you sign before a booking is confirmed. Where the two differ, the signed contract applies.
What this website is
This site is information and inquiry only. You cannot book or pay for travel on it, and every price is shown as "on request" because we quote each trip individually.
Nothing on this site is a binding offer. Descriptions of places, hotels, timings and inclusions are given in good faith and in reasonable detail, but they become a contractual promise only when they appear in your written quotation and contract.
Quotations
- We normally reply to inquiries within one business day.
- A quotation is built around the dates, party size and itinerary you gave us.
- It states what is included and what is not. Please read the exclusions.
- It is valid for the period stated on it. After that we may need to re-quote, particularly for air and rail fares and for peak-season hotels.
- We do not add surcharges once you have paid a deposit, except where a government tax or a supplier's price changes before travel — and in that case we tell you before anything is charged.
Booking and payment
- A booking exists once we have confirmed your itinerary in writing and you have paid the deposit shown on your quotation.
- The balance is due before arrival, as stated on the quotation.
- Payments go to the corporate bank account of China Comfort Travel Group Jiangxi Co., Ltd., or through a licensed payment channel, and we issue a formal Chinese tax invoice.
- We never ask for a transfer to a private or personal account. Our bank details are sent once, from our own address, and they do not change during a booking — if you receive a message saying they have, contact us on the number below before sending anything.
- The trip is confirmed on the standard inbound travel contract issued by China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism — the same model form every licensed agency in the country is required to use. You read and approve it before the deposit is due, and we send you a copy.
- Our contract is with the person who makes the booking, and that person is responsible for the whole party.
Changes and cancellation
- Cancellation and amendment terms, including any supplier charges that apply, are set out in the written quotation and service contract you sign before paying a deposit. Those terms apply.
- If you need to change dates or arrangements, tell us as early as you can. We will always try to move things rather than charge you for canceling.
- If we have to change your trip, we will offer an equivalent alternative. If that is not acceptable, and the change is significant and within our control, you may cancel the affected part and we will refund what we have not yet committed to suppliers.
- Force majeure: weather, natural events, strikes, epidemics, government action or transport disruption can make a change or cancellation unavoidable. We will help you re-plan, and we will pass back anything we can recover from suppliers.
What is not included
Unless your quotation says otherwise, our prices exclude international flights, Chinese visa fees, travel insurance, gratuities and personal spending. Each itinerary page lists its own inclusions and exclusions.
Travel insurance and safety
- As a licensed Chinese travel agency we carry the travel agency liability insurance Chinese law requires, and we take out travel accident insurance for every traveler named on the booking, for the dates of the trip.
- These are two separate policies: the liability insurance is ours, and the travel accident insurance is issued in each traveler's own name for their own travel dates — it is not a group policy that merely lists the traveler among other passengers. You receive the documents for both.
- Ask us for the insurer's name, the policy schedule and the wording before you pay anything — and read the exclusions, particularly what the policy says about pre-existing conditions.
- The cover we arrange is a baseline for the trip itself. We recommend you also hold your own travel medical policy with evacuation and repatriation cover, plus cover for cancellation and your belongings.
- Tell us before you book about any medical condition, allergy, mobility limitation or dietary requirement, so that we can plan around it — and so that an insurer cannot later refuse a claim over something we were never told.
- Mountain, altitude and long-walking itineraries carry real physical demands. Optional activities you book directly with a third party on the day fall outside our contract.
Passports, visas and entry rules
You are responsible for holding a valid passport and the correct visa or visa-free status for your nationality. What we publish about Chinese visa rules — including in our travel guide — is general guidance, not legal advice, and the rules change. Always confirm your own position with your nearest Chinese embassy, consulate or visa application center before you commit to flights.
Health, safety and fitness
We plan the days around the group. Guides know which hospitals and clinics in each city treat international patients, and where an itinerary involves altitude or long days on foot that is written on the itinerary page rather than left to the morning. If something goes wrong while you are traveling, call the number in your arrival pack first: it reaches the team that arranged your trip, and we deal with the insurer for you rather than leaving you to sort it out from a hotel room.
Our responsibility
We act as a licensed travel agency and take responsibility for arranging the services in your contract with reasonable skill and care. We are not responsible for matters outside our control, including the acts of airlines, hotels and other suppliers, natural events, or the decisions of any authority. Where a supplier fails to deliver a service we booked for you, we will pursue the claim on your behalf.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the mandatory law that applies to you.
Your conduct
Please respect the places we take you — sites, temples, communities, other travelers and our staff. Illegal behavior, or behavior that endangers others, may end your trip and may not be refundable.
Photographs and reviews
We sometimes photograph trips for our own website and social channels. We ask before using a recognizable picture of you, and you can ask us to remove one at any time. If you send us a review or a photograph, we may publish it with your first name and country — tell us if you would rather we did not.
Content and links
The text, layout and photographs on this site belong to us or to our partners and may not be reused commercially without permission. Guest review screenshots from third-party platforms such as Ctrip and Fliggy remain the property of those platforms and their authors. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we do not control what is on them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. If a dispute cannot be settled by talking to us first, it belongs to the courts of Nanchang, Jiangxi.
