Who we are

This website is operated by China Comfort Travel Group Jiangxi Co., Ltd. — a travel agency registered in Nanchang, Jiangxi, China. Unified Social Credit Code 91360100612664502M, Travel Agency License L-JX-CJ00011, Room 411, 4th Floor, Nanchang Integrated Transport Hub, 345 Luoyang Road, Qingshanhu District, Nanchang, Jiangxi, China.

What we collect

We collect only what you type into the forms on this site:

• your name and email address (required)
• your telephone number or WhatsApp number, if you give it
• your country of residence
• your travel dates, how many people are traveling, hotel preference and budget range
• anything you write in the message box

We do not ask for passport numbers, payment card details or identity documents through this website, and we do not want you to send them through it.

If you go on to book, we will need passport details — for hotel registration, rail and air tickets, permits, and the travel accident insurance we take out for each traveler. We ask for those by email once the booking is agreed, never through this website.

What the site records automatically

Our statistics record anonymous page views and which buttons are clicked, so we can see which pages are useful and which are not. Those records contain the page address, the time, a rough country derived from the connection, and which button was clicked.

They do not contain your IP address, your browser or device details, or any advertising identifier. We do not set advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors. One session cookie is used so that our forms work and cannot be forged; it carries no personal information and expires when you close your browser.

Why we use your information

• To answer your inquiry and send you a quotation — this is what you asked us to do.
• To arrange and operate your trip, if you book one — this forms part of our contract with you.
• To keep the records we are required to keep as a licensed travel agency in China.

We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Who else sees it

• Our own staff in the Jiangxi office, and the guides and drivers working on your trip.
• Our email provider, which delivers the notification email into our inbox.
• Suppliers such as hotels, airlines and transport operators — only the details they need, and only once you have booked.
• Our insurer, when we take out travel accident insurance for your booking — the names, dates of birth and passport details the policy requires, and only once you have booked.
• Our bank, and the licensed payment provider if you pay by card, so that your payment can be processed and receipted. We never see or store your card number.
• Public authorities, where the law requires it.

We never pass your details to an advertising network, a data broker or any other third party for their own use.

Insurance, contracts and payment records

Booking a trip creates three more sets of records, which we keep as a licensed travel agency in China is required to:

• the travel contract, which carries your name, your party and the services booked;
• the travel accident insurance taken out in your name, which carries the details the insurer requires;
• the invoice and the payment records held by our bank, kept for Chinese tax and accounting purposes.

We share the minimum with the insurer and the bank, and nothing with anyone else. None of it is used for marketing.

How long we keep it

• Inquiries that do not lead to a booking: up to 24 months, then deleted.
• Booking and accounting records: for as long as Chinese law requires us to keep them.
• Anonymous statistics: kept indefinitely, because they identify nobody.

You can ask us to delete your inquiry sooner. See "Your rights" below.

Where it is stored

Your information is stored on a server we control and in our company mailbox. Our office and travel team are in China. Where a supplier outside China is involved in delivering an email, the address and the message pass through their systems for that purpose only.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• show you what we hold about you
• correct anything that is wrong
• delete your inquiry or your records, where the law allows
• stop using your details for a particular purpose

Children

This website is not directed at children. Where we arrange travel for a school or student group, we do so on the instruction of the school and with the consent of parents or guardians.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date shown at the top of this page.
